British DJ Route 94 hit the top of Britain's music charts on Sunday as "My Love", his collaboration with singer Jess Glynne, knocked U.S. star Pharrell Williams into second place, the Official Charts Company said. No other new entries made an impression at the top of the album chart, as British singer Ellie Goulding rose to second place, nudging last week's chart topper "Bad Blood" by Bastille down to number three. Glynne, the vocalist on Route 94's number one, also featured on the week's third best-selling single "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit.
St Jude has sent us patient medical wristbands for the community to sell and raise money for St Jude Children's Research Hospital. The patient wristbands have the name of a child, disease and age on each of them. They come in a variety of colors. We ask that you sell them for a $2 donation.
We invite schools and classes to sell them as a project to help save a child's life through St Jude. The money does not have to be collected before you pick up the wristband; what wristbands are not sold should be brought back to the radio station along with the money raised on or (before) March 10th. If you would like to sale bracelets call 707-442-2000. We will need a contact name, the organization/church/schools name, a contact number, & how many bracelets you would like.
